Space Pad is designed with privacy as the highest priority. All your notes, settings, and interactions are stored locally on your device. We do not use cloud syncing, database storage, or remote servers to hold your data.

2. Accessibility & Advanced APIs

To function correctly, Space Pad requests macOS Accessibility permissions and uses advanced macOS desktop detection APIs (SkyLight). These permissions are used strictly to detect context changes, such as switching between virtual desktops (Spaces), and to identify which Space you are currently on. We do not record or transmit your screen contents, keystrokes, or any other data.

3. Analytics

Our website may use simple, privacy-friendly analytics (like Plausible) to understand general traffic patterns. These tools do not track individual users or use cookies.

4. Distribution & Transparency

Space Pad is distributed directly (not through the App Store) and uses advanced macOS desktop APIs for better Space identification. Our goal is complete transparency: we believe you deserve to know exactly what your tools are doing. If you have concerns about how we use macOS APIs, please review the source code or contact us.
