No, Space Pad intentionally stores data locally. It is designed to be a personal macOS utility for the exact machine you're working on.

Space Pad now uses deeper macOS desktop detection (SkyLight APIs) for much more reliable per-Desktop identification. Behavior can still vary in some macOS or multi-monitor edge cases, but accuracy is significantly improved.

Yes! The default shortcut is Control + Option + N, but you can customize the key (A–Z or Space) and modifiers (Control/Option/Command/Shift) from Settings. Changes apply immediately, no restart needed.

macOS deletes the Space, but Space Pad keeps your notes safe. Any notes associated with a deleted desktop are automatically moved to your 'Global' notes list.

Yes. Each monitor can have its own Spaces in macOS, and Space Pad respects the active display and desktop you are currently focused on.
